Reverse Genealogy Classes being offered in March 2014

REVERSE GENEALOGY CLASSES
being offered by the Lake Havasu Genealogical Society

Lake Havasu City, AZ: The Lake Havasu Genealogical Society will be holding a 4-part series of classes on Reverse Genealogy March 11, 13, 25, and 27 at their Library located in the Shambles Village, 2126 N McCulloch Blvd, Suite 17.

The 4-part series of genealogy classes on Reverse Genealogy will teach beginner to experience researchers how to start from the past and work their way to the present. This technique is very helpful in finding living relatives or to break through brick walls by researching co-lateral family lines. Traditionally, researchers start with the known and work back one generation at a time to find ones ancestors.

The cost, which includes all four parts of the series, is $20.00 for members of the Society and $30.00 for non-members. Participates can choose either the morning session and attend classes from 10am until Noon or the evening session which runs from 6pm until 8pm.

About Lake Havasu Genealogical Society: LHGS is a non-profit organization formed in September of 1987 and dedicated to collecting and preserving genealogical and historical data. Their objective is to encourage and assist others in gathering ancestral information. In 1990 the LHGS started a library in the home of one of their members and in 2001 moved to their current location in the Shambles Village on McCulloch Ave. The Library is operated solely by volunteer help.
