Calendar of Events for the Week of January 6th

Monday - January 6th
American Research Special Interest Group meets at 10am-Noon - Join your fellow Society Members to share research tips and hints on searching for your American ancestors,  includes all of North America (US, Canada and Mexico). Please feel free to bring your genealogy files, laptops or tablets to the meeting. For this SIG to continue, we will need someone to volunteer and be the facilitator for the group.

Tuesday - January 7th
Library reopens at Noon to 4pm. Come down and explore all the resources of our Library. This is an excellent place to work on your research, away from your own home and the distractions associated with it.

Board Meeting at 4pm. As always, any member is welcome to attend Board Meetings. (NOTE: Board Meetings have been changed to the Tuesday the week prior to our General Meeting.)

 Wednesday - January 8th
Library is open from 9am-5pm. Pack a bag lunch and stay for the whole day, or spend a few hours to do some much needed research on your family history.

Share Session at 9:30am until about 11am - This month's share session will be looking at RootsMagic 6 a software program that organizes your research. The library has this software installed on their computer and a limited version is free to download. Come and learn about RootsMagic and determine if this might be the software you need to expand your family history research.

Thursday – January 9th
Library is open from 1pm-5pm. Come down and get some research time at our library. Having problems or need another pair of eyes, our Library is an excellant place to get assistances.
