Special Interest Groups: Two groups have meetings scheduled for this week.

Help your fellow members or get help from your fellow members with your research. Share websites you found helpful or brainstorm ideas on where you might want to take your research next.

Thursday - January 16th starting at 10:00am - Family Tree Maker Research: If you are using Family Tree Maker for your record keeping software for your genealogy research or maybe want to use it, then this special interest group is for you. Learn how to record your facts, sources, or run reports and more. Get the most out of your software.

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS - These groups are a new idea for the society and if we don't get enough interest, not all groups will continue to meet. So if you are interested in one or both of the groups and are unable to attend, you may want to email the society at lhgs@frontier.com so that we know who would be interested in attending next month. Both of these meetings are tentatively scheduled the second week of the month, however Thursday's meeting was postponed this month by one week due to a conflict for the Facilitator.

REMINDER: January is the month that our yearly dues are due. You may pay them at this meeting or during the month of January. Membership cost is only $15.00 for an individual and $21 per couple. As always, dues can be sent via check payable to LHGS and mailed to PO Box 953, Lake Havasu City, AZ  86405.
